Positively Kids Introduces the Positive Triad, Teaching Kids to Make Positive Choices During Times of Distress

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) October 25, 2012

The positive triad is a tool that parents and educators will be using everywhere to help teach kids early on about how positive thinking and positive behaviors can improve a childs mood. Dr. Spencer Wetter, a Positively Kids contributor, and Neuropsychologist at Applied Neuropsychology Institute talks about how the positive triad can help kids.

Positively Kids has a fun affirmation delivery system through music, games and videos that teaches kids how to develop positive thinking and make positive choices early on in life. By delivering positive messages through music in their award winning music album “Be Happy”, and recently released single “The ABC Song” kids are actively singing each melody while learning to use positive words.

Positively Kids founder, Stacey Crumrine states, Children need to learn the proper tools early on to cope during distress so they have the tools necessary to make good positive choices. By teaching kids how to get out of a bad state, kids will learn early on the healthy things they can do to get themselves to feel better. The purpose of the positive triad is to give them tools that will translate to almost any challenging situation they encounter … for the rest of their lives.

Positively Kids has a growing YouTube channel of free videos, such as the Positive Patter, Happy Boogie and Happy City. Positively Kids uses their kid-friendly and engaging character Captain Positive to deliver the fun positive messages. The music album “Be Happy” is something alot of parents like to have on in the car on the way to school in the morning, so the positive message will seep in before heading into the world. San Diego mom, Gina Axelson loves the CD and keeps it handy in her car for sing-a-longs with her pre-school age son. Having a CD I can turn to for positvity and affirmations that is fun really helps me connect with my son!

Positively Kids released “The ABC Song” in August and has also been getting rave reviews. Caregiver Renee Oberhart said “I like how it builds young children’s vocabulary of positive words. I bet after listening to this song, kids will be declaring themselves as brave, clever, or any of the other words in this song!”

In 2013, Positively Kids will be releasing the DVD “Be Happy” where you will see the positive triad put into action. The positive triad shows kids that by thinking positive and doing behaviors that are positive they will feel good, just like you can hear the shouts of “feel it” in the Happy Boogie video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6O99ekiteA&feature=plcp
