W.F. Loveladys New Childrens Book Uses Adventure to Inspire

MADISON, Ala. (PRWEB) January 22, 2013

With the publication of his new sequel The Adventures of Johnny Saturday: The Helper (published by AuthorHouse) author W. F. Lovelady returns to his protagonist Johnny Saturday, this time sending him on an adventure to Antarctica to capture a dark villain, return a princess and save kidnapped schoolmates.

While searching in his attic, Johnny comes across a mysterious black journal. This journal bound with a black leather cover was left with the inside pages unusually blank. Although this journal seemed ordinary at first, it would soon take Johnny on an adventure of his lifetime.

An excerpt from The Adventures of Johnny Saturday:

Come on, Johnny! Be adventurous, if you can! cried Max. Johnnys bedroom clock ticked ever so slowly. Tick. Tock. Tick Tock Suddenly, Johnny felt himself being transformed and sucked into the page of his journal! Then everything became dark, absolutely dark

Aimed at inspiring young students to follow their dreams, The Adventures of Johnny Saturday addresses themes of preteen self-esteem and the importance of building confidence early. Set during the holiday season, the book intertwines childhood excitement and cultural education with the overall purpose of encouraging kids to continue reading and allowing them to pretend. Its important to always keep your imagination, says Lovelady. Even as an adult.
